Deborah Breakspear steps down after 27 years as a Trustee
After 27 years on the Arthritis Action Board of Trustees, we are sad to announce that Deborah Breakspear is stepping down from her role on the Board.
Debbie became a Trustee in 1991 and is our longest serving Trustee. She joined Arthritis Action 30 years ago following an introduction from a friend after a severe flare-up in her arthritis. She recalls being offered very sympathetic and understanding advice and was put in touch with Arthritis Action’s experts who introduced her to our self-management approach.
Chair of Trustees Robin Nye thanked Debbie for her support over the years in her role as a Trustee on behalf of the Charity, staff and Members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference 2018, on 21st June 2018, at the King’s Fund in London.
