South East and Central Essex Mind believes no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They provide mental health services and training across Southend-on-Sea, Castle Point, Chelmsford, Rochford and South Woodham Ferrers. Services include Counselling and Trauma Services, Supported Housing, PACE and Mental Health Training for individuals, schools and businesses.
They also run Somewhere To Turn, a free online peer support and signposting service available via Facebook. The service offers a safe virtual space to share experiences and talk to others. The group is for anyone who is struggling to cope, looking for mental health signposting or concerned about a loved one. Everyone is welcome, whether you are looking to find help or would like to offer your support to others.
