Hertfordshire Mind Network

Deliver essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from our seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues across all ten districts of the county. Funded locally, our services are available to all residents in Hertfordshire over the age of 18 and we offer dedicated services for 15-18 year olds.

Creating opportunities for individuals experiencing mental ill health to make choices, find their solutions, build resilience and manage their whole life and wellbeing. Our services are based on the principle of self-help with a strong emphasis on prevention, personal development, self-management and improving health and wellbeing.

MentalHealthMatters (MHM): Hertfordshire Employment Support

(Hertfordshire Services)

A not-for-profit organisation working with Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust to provide employment related support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties who are currently accessing the Hertfordshire Wellbeing IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service. They are a team of dedicated employment specialists, providing personalised support to help people achieve their employment goals.

Mind in Mid Herts

Mind in Mid Herts is an independent local charity in Hertfordshire affiliated with National Mind. Their mission is to provide prevention, recovery and support services in Hertfordshire to empower people to take control of their mental health. They have 4 offices within Hertfordshire including; St Albans, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Hertford and offer outreach support in the surrounding communities. They offer a range of services in a person centred way including; social support groups such as arts and crafts, drama, music, creative writing and much more, counselling, getting back into exercise to name a few.

Wellbeing Service

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust

An Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) service, providing easily accessible, evidence based treatments to those living in Hertfordshire who may be experiencing common emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, worry, low mood, insomnia and stress. Part of the NHS, this service also provides help and support for carers, those who may need support through pregnancy or the postnatal period, as well as people living with a long term physical health condition.
