To help more people across the country access our peer-led support we are now running virtual meetings over the online platform Zoom.
We are very pleased to have received funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by the National Lottery Community Fund to help us run the Online Groups. Thanks to the Government for making this possible
Dr Claire Brockett, Associate Professor at the University of Leeds, will be speaking on the topic ‘Engineering a Total Joint Replacement’.
She will introduce the role of her research groups and how they contribute to the development of new implants – such as hip, knee and ankle replacements. She will also cover working with clinicians, industry and patients and the challenges faced.
