Ramblers Wellbeing Walks
Improving community health and well-being through walking, the Blackpool Wellbeing Walks aims to encourage local residents to leave the sofa, stretch their legs, get some fresh air as well as meet new people. The programme aims to increase physical activity for local people who wouldn’t normally exercise and to assist with the challenge of meeting the recommended 150 minutes of moderate physical activity a week. All walks are guided, range from 30 – 60 minutes in duration and all routes are planned to incorporate beautiful locations such as Stanley Park, Herons Reach, Martin Mere, and the Promenade.
