Walking for Health

Free, guided health walks across Liverpool to suit all ages, abilities and fitness levels whether you’re already active, at the start of your journey or slowing things down, you’ll find a walk to suit you. Walking is already part of our everyday lives; it’s something most of us do without thinking. You don’t need to learn any new skills or buy any expensive equipment. All you need to do is start doing a little more. Walking is a low intensity activity, it doesn’t put pressure on your joints, is a healthy aerobic exercise and therefore a gentle and safe way to start getting more active. A full list of walks can be viewed on the website and direct contact can also be made with the Scheme Coordinator for further details and/or any specific concerns.
