MSP supports the ‘We Are Undefeatable’ campaign, which inspires people with a range of long-term health conditions to be active and have a signposting webpage specifically for people in Merseyside living with long term-health conditions to help them get active locally.

FREE Joint Pain Programme – Liverpool

Nuffield Health

A free 12-week Joint Pain Programme embracing the idea that physical activity can manage and prevent joint pain issues. Designed by experts in physical and mental health combining education, physical activity and emotional wellbeing support. And it works… People completing the programme report a significant improvement in symptoms, an improvement in quality of life and feel better able to manage in the long term. In addition to expert advice and hands-on instruction, the programme is delivered in the Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing Centres across the UK in groups of up to ten people, creating a support network and helping you to achieve your goals as a team. You will receive free complete access to all facilities at the Fitness and Wellbeing Centre during the duration of the programme and a significantly discounted full membership after. Fun, free and friendly health walks perfect for encouraging local people get outdoors, get active as well as meet new people. With no booking required, either register online via the website or simply turn up at the start point of one of the walks 10 minutes early, so the trained Volunteer Leader can take your details and answer any questions and/or concerns you may have. An independent local charity working in the community to support older people, their families and carers, Age UK Wirral promotes the wellbeing of older people on the Wirral, helping to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
