NICE Guidelines on the Assessment and Prevention of Falls in Older People

Arthritis Action welcomes the new NICE Guidelines on the assessment and prevention of falls in older people and those over 50 at higher risk.  Aiming to reduce the risk and incidence of falls, and the associated distress, pain, injury, loss of confidence, loss of independence and mortality through update guidelines will benefit many of those who experience frailty and are at increased risk of falls due to having arthritis.
