Social Media Volunteer Role - Arthritis Action

About Arthritis Action

Arthritis Action is the UK charity offering a self-management approach to help people with arthritis address the physical and mental health symptoms of living with the condition. Our self-management approach includes a wide array of services including dietary and nutritional advice, exercise resources, and access to clinical appointments. We help people with arthritis gain the knowledge and confidence to manage their condition themselves and enjoy a more active life with less pain.

We are looking for someone to develop content to raise awareness of Arthritis Action and creatively share our helpful resources, support, and advice across our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Health Unlocked. This includes writing copy for social posts, creating imagery and short videos, and developing other creative campaigns for social media.

There is scope to gain both office experience and hands-on involvement in working for a charity and building brand awareness. You will work with the Communications team to grow your experience and help build the charity’s brand across our social media channels, providing valuable experience for any future communications or marketing roles in the not-for-profit sector.

What you will receive. (eg. reimbursement of expenses, training)

We provide reasonable travel costs for days in the office. Please keep all receipts.

  • Training on social media channels and associated software, including Hootsuite and Canva
